I really like the program but I still wish there was a little more variety to the exercises each week. I still really enjoy it tho

This is a great program for moderate volume on 4-days a week - the markers of progression concept is appealing as it provides better focus but honestly I struggle not to want to progress all exercises if I can anyway! There's a large degree of freedom both in choosing which markers of progression and exercise selection which personally I prefer but others may need/want something more prescriptive. I had to follow a different lower body protocol as I was following a tendinopathy rehab program in parallel but the upper body program definitely helped improve my focus lifts. I should say that I was cutting the whole way through but still seeing progress in either weight or reps at regular intervals (not weekly), which was obviously great. It helped that two of my markers were weighted calisthenics! Small warning: the way this is set up in boostcamp, it assumes your first exercise in each session is your chosen marker and will auto-reduce reps by 2 at each phase. If you've not chosen your first exercise as a marker or picked a different exercise, you'll need to manually override inevitably each week. I believe you should be doing 3 sets not 2 of your progression marker but this isn't clear and probably doesn't matter that much. Remember to start your chosen marker exercise at 10 reps and reduce by 2 reps each phase until you reach 6 reps.

It works well for me being over 50, the upper / lower 4 days is great.

Seems great for now. Trying it on a recomp phase, increase slightly overall volume. Let's see how it goes in the future with the other phases.
