Take your full body workouts to new heights with Beast Slayer

When it comes to finding a training routine, you may not always consider a full body workout, especially if you are training for bodybuilding, or powerlifting, where you need to look a certain way, or be as strong as possible. However, life can get pretty busy and you may not always have time for several workouts a week divided up into splits like the push/pull/legs or even the upper/lower split. That being said, full body workouts may be all you have time for during the week, and Beast Slayer is the perfect full body workout that can help craft the perfect physique.

Let’s take a look at the benefits that you can expect with an effective full body workout routine, and why exactly Beast Slayer fits the profile.

Breaking Down Full Body Workouts

Full body workouts are often looked at as ineffective, stating there is too much volume, and the muscles do not have time to recover, nor do you have time to really focus on individual muscles enough for them to achieve adequate stimulus. However, this is not necessarily the case, and full body workouts can bring a lot of benefits.

Here are some benefits of full body workouts:

1. Time Efficiency

In today's fast-paced world, finding time to exercise can be challenging. Full body workouts are time-efficient, allowing you to train all major muscle groups in one session. This means fewer trips to the gym and more time saved for other activities. Typically, full body workouts can be completed in about 60 minutes, making them ideal for those with busy schedules.

2. Increased Calorie Burn

Engaging multiple muscle groups simultaneously leads to a higher calorie burn compared to workouts that focus on a single muscle group. Exercises like squats, deadlifts, and push-ups require significant energy, boosting your metabolism and enhancing fat loss. This makes full body workouts particularly effective for those looking to lose weight or maintain a lean physique.

3. Balanced Muscle Development

By working out all major muscle groups in each session, full body workouts promote balanced muscle development. This reduces the risk of muscular imbalances, which can lead to poor posture and increased injury risk. Balanced training ensures that all parts of your body develop evenly, contributing to overall strength and functionality.

4. Improved Cardiovascular Health

Full body workouts often incorporate compound movements that elevate your heart rate, providing cardiovascular benefits alongside strength training. Exercises like burpees, kettlebell swings, and rowing can improve cardiovascular endurance and promote heart health, giving you a comprehensive fitness routine in one go.

5. Flexibility in Training

Full body workouts offer greater flexibility in training schedules. Missing a workout day doesn't mean you've neglected a specific muscle group for an entire week. Since you're training all major muscles in each session, you can adjust your workout days more easily without compromising your overall progress.

6. Enhanced Muscle Recovery

Contrary to the belief that full body workouts might lead to overtraining, they actually allow for ample recovery time. Training each muscle group three times a week with adequate rest days in between ensures muscles have sufficient time to recover and grow. This can be particularly advantageous for beginners who need more recovery time.

7. Adaptability for All Fitness Levels

Full body workouts can be easily modified to suit any fitness level, from beginners to advanced athletes. Beginners can start with basic movements and gradually increase intensity, while experienced individuals can incorporate more challenging variations and higher weights. This adaptability makes full body workouts accessible and effective for everyone.

Beast Slayer: The Ultimate Full Body Routine

Now, Beast Slayer, a program written by Bald Omni-Man, uses the Berserk Method to really give you an effective full body routine that is aimed at building size and strength. It is a program that will require a full gym, and is good for anyone from beginners to advanced lifters, as you can make the adjustments to suit your skill level. This full body workout program has you in the gym 3 or 4 days a week, with training sessions lasting around 75 minutes, and plenty of time to recover until the next one.

Beast Slayer comes in two different variations:

The Hybrid

The Hybrid variation of Beast Slayer is good for all experience levels, specifically people who want to just try out Full Body Workouts. You get an arm day, along with a classic upper/lower duo of sessions. One full body day is included. This split is also really good for intermediate or advanced trainees with strength minded goals, because it leaves room to fit in enough frequency for your compound lifts, along with enough rest to recover from them. Overall, this version is for people that want to get a little of everything. Newer lifters should set their volume on the lower side, intermediate and advanced lifters can use more volume.

This version of the program actually includes an arm day, full body day, upper day, and lower day.

The Hunter

On the other hand, The Hunter variation of Beast Slayer is geared more towards those intermediate or advanced lifters that enjoy the recovery benefits of full body training, along with the work capacity gains. This split works best for those who have hypertrophy minded goals, as recovery will start to become encumbered for those that want to pursue increasing strength gains with BIG HEAVY compound lifts. This program will make you stronger, but in a general sense.

This version of the program is not meant to increase strength in BIG HEAVY compounds, but will get you stronger, in a general sense
