I feel like there is a lot of junk volume and overlap in the structure. Doesn't allow for proper progressive overload.

Good program so far. I have seen both size and strength gains. I’m a beginner/intermediate lifter.

Three weeks into my first program and I think the thing that helps me the most is the exercise tracking. Seeing the reps and weight of the previous workout sets a goal I wouldn’t have if I was just winging it like I normally do.

As a busy father to young kids I pair exercises and limit rest periods, typically done in 30mins. I compromise on how strong and big I can get but that is by choice. I like the split of upper lower and strength vs hypertrophy. I make swaps based on equipment selection or how my body feels but I've come back to this program after already completing it.

The squat/deadlift combo on the same day is extremely taxing. There is no progressive overload, a core component of strength training. It’s the same exercises every week, 3-5 reps. Would not recommend this to anyone more experienced than a beginner.
