GZCL Program (GZCLP)
Good variety. Good mix of rep and set schemes. The volume and time in the gym is good being a dad in his 40s with a full time job. I'm able to do this with my bench and barbell in my basement too
First time following an actual proven program. Feeling strong, progressing fast
Gains way beyond anticipated. One of the few programs I could follow longterm without losing motivation.
More alternate options on the T2 & T3 would be nice but it’s not hard to adjust if you’re down for a little research. Good program, I’m seeing results for sure.
Excellent programme, however don't be too conservative with starting weights - T1 AMRAP should be 10 reps max
I wish it automatically updated the progressions based on success/failure, and that it gave more credence to back. However, it does seem to provide solid strength gains and really helps with tracking to make sure i’m doing progressive overload
That I have optional exercises to switch it up. I get bored. I lived the diversity, loved that you could have different workouts. 3 days is brilliant and I definitely notice a change in my body composition!
Very rare I have run strength specific progra.s through the years, as they usually bore me and I go back to traditional bodybuilding style stuff. NOT this one. Pushes you HARD on the strength stuff and factors in plenty of AMRAP bodybuilding style stuff.
Good basic program
I have a hectic work schedule so it’s hard for me to stay consistent with the gym. This program made it easier for me to stick with a workout
