Flex Wheeler Bro Split Hypertrophy
Had to add substitutes due to the gym being packed. Also, suffered a knee injury halfway through and required surgery so had to modify
Finally taking my workouts a little more seriously and this program has given me incredible results in a few short weeks. Very excited to keep going with it
Great program allows you to progress easily by the way you increase reps and weight each week. Definitely recommend this program.
really enjoying the program making great progress only six weeks in
This is a great program to hit each major muscle group once a week.
Need more mental care
It’s a pretty solid program. Saw some good growth and good strength gains. I used this as a break from a more high volume / high frequency split. I treated the first two sets of every exercise as a warm up/feeler set and hit two working sets after (one at 85-90% and the last to failure - so with that the workouts weren’t actually as much volume as it looks on paper) I think the 1x week back and chest days was the switch up I needed to grow when I plateaued during my other split. Only thing I disliked was a bit of lack of variation. But thats easy enough with some substitutions (leg press was a staple in here 2x a week, so every other week I’d swap one leg press day out with RDLs or another compound / back was very row heavy - so I’d swap out a row exercise for another pull down every other week / chest is very press heavy so id do a similar substitution with another fly movement). All in all, I think if you’re looking to train high intensity and willing to go all out - it’s a great program with back and chest being hit once a week. After 8 weeks im swapping out to a higher volume and higher frequency split, but will definitely consider this program again when I need a change from that.
Legs is a big thing in this program so I like that aswell as good shoulder focus. Lift has gone up quite a bit. 10 weeks left so looking forward to see the end result!
Great program I am going to repeat!
Great program for getting back into working out. Hit all the basics i wanted.
