Beast Slayer: Berserk Method Full Body Program 2.0
Really good program. Before you start, please check bald omniman's YouTube video. It will help you a lot. I usually do this program in my winter phase
Struggle, challenge, and rise to struggle again! That’s the only sword a struggler can use against death.
I am at week 8 and I’m loving the program!
Ran this on a bulk after not training for nearly a year. Within 6 weeks, the majority of my lifts have met my old numbers, a good amount have surpassed my old numbers. The program is very intuitive, fun, and easy to modify. My only complaint is that im getting too strong too quickly, and that I need to buy larger shirts.
Mostly happy with the progress and recovery seems to be on point. Can only recommend this one.
Love Bald omni mans work. Nice to actually stick to a plan, stops me getting silly.
I love all of Coach Paris’s programs, but I think I had the most enjoyment out of this one. Strength gains are steady and consistent, moreso than other hypertrophy programs I’ve ran. Biggest changes physique-wise have been in my arms, pecs, adductors and hammies personally. I would even go as far to say that I may run this program AGAIN once I complete it. If you can only do one of Coach Paris’s programs, it should probably be this one.
It's definitely quite a top heavy program although that's not to say lower body is neglected in any way. Personally, I don't think my elbows enjoyed the 8 different arm exercises with 2 sets each (!!) - at least not with going to failure like I tend to do. I'm an older lifter though so YMMV. I cut it to just 6 sets biceps, 8 for triceps. I feel like with plenty of compounds that's more than sufficient. I'm still seeing how the strength-focused training will pan out as I'm only just over a quarter of the way through the program.
Excellent program. The addition of how many options there are for each workout makes it managable for home gyms with limited resources. Worthy of the 2.0 title. I recommend his youtube channel too. One of my favorite fitness youtubers.
Made some exercise selection swaps and swapped out some bicep volume for delts. Introduced some rear delt focus exercises as well. I appreciate the suggested progression model but I prefer to auto regulate in a linear style to drive strength progress as the weeks pass and use volume (add sets or deload) as a way to bounce a progression stall.
