Basement Bodybuilding: Home Gym Upper Lower
I enjoyed how well rounded this program was, really hits all the muscles with compound and isolation exercises. Get your nutrition dialed and expect some good gains.
My strength and muscle gain progress isn't a good reflection on the program due to being in a large deficit to lose fat. The flow of some exercises seems to not be in my order of choice. The volume and frequency seem to be spot on. Maybe include how hard or what rpe each set should be?
Good yet some exercises are better to be replaced
Reordering so to not have the same muscles used back to back was done on every day. Other than that, good program.
The exercise split allows enough recovery for the next day. There is enough variation to prevent my joints getting achey. There are plenty of exercises that can be "bullied" while keeping the isolations you can push hard on.
Alot of back sets, for me, I gained more on my triceps and lats , I'm alittle older(57) so gains are much harder to come by
Loving this program. Great for an emphasis on intensity while keeping recovery in check. I’ve put on some pretty serious mass without having to spend my whole life in the gym. Also, it’s great for a home gym with just a rack, barbell, and dumbbells. Get in, push hard as fuck, get out, be jacked. Shout out BB.
Loving it so far. I’ve been inconsistent but every time I come back to it, the parts that I do feel like they’re always screaming when I finish. I wish there were a bit more alternative options available for me to track instead of pretending to do a set that magically has 15lbs more than usual, but otherwise it’s a solid setup.
Some of the videos linked were not the correct exercise. The cartoon style illustrations were much more useful and accurate.
Good program, few changes here and there for availability and made more sets, other than that an enjoyable program
